Hide Stock in Sub-Product without Disregard

   The site that I manage uses an external system to keep inventory updated on Product Cart. I have products that have sub-products. I dont want to disregard stock because I cant allow customers to order below inventory. How can I remove the "500 in stock" from the product pages without disregarding the stock for the sub-products?
