PayPal Express and Credit Card on the Same Order

We just had a case where an order came through with a credit card number and a PayPal authorization on the same order. 
The PayPal amount was authorized and completed, but in the credit card portion of the view-order screen, the customer's credit card and exp. date are listed.  It says that the payment method is PayPal Express Checkout, but in most cases (all except this one), the credit card information doesn't appear.

We've had several other PayPal orders after this one that functioned correctly (no credit card info).

Any ideas why this might have happened?
