I'm simply trying to give my customer the ability to "request a quote". In place of the add to cart button I would like to have a request quote that simply has a form they complete with the details of the quote that is emailed to the store administrator.

So is your point that you want this new button to e-mail the form contents (configured product) to a specified address?

Hi,
The "Request a Quote" feature is available in the BTO version of ProductCart and works for BTO products only. For a work around, for non-bto products on a BTO store, see : http://www.earlyimpact.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=1937 - the discussion about quotes starts about 4-5 posts down the page. |

Yes.. The BTO version is new to me and I'm struggling to figure out what I hope is very simple.

Hamish- Thanks for the reply. I am using the BTO version but can't figure out how to assign a product for "request a quote" only. I'm sure it's simple I'm just not seeing it.... |

Hi Vance,
To set a BTO Product to Quote only is done when adding or modifying a BTO PRODUCT (Not Item) in the "Product Prices" section. There is a "Disallow purchasing (quoting only):" set of radio buttons. HTH, Hamish |
