product cart images and buttons showing as 404

I am having a problem with a specific part of my e-commerce store and google.
for every product and category that I have on my store (over 2210 urls on sitemap), I am getting a 404 error for the specific images (regular, detail, and thumbnails) and all button images(add to cart,send to friend, etc) on every product and category indexed page.....which is compiling to over 1200 broken links!

These errors are appearing on ALL products....the problem is, is that now google is indexing all of these and reporting them as broken as well....there are no other broken links on my site, only the specific types as noted above.

no one seems to have any answers, including the man I hired to build the store!
