    Posted: 27-July-2007 at 10:41am

Before we moved over to the static pages we used to put tracker code from google analytics on all our feeds and emailers .. to help better track where sales/hits were coming from. when I used this http://www.chevellejewelry.com/gold-diamond/pc/viewprd.asp?i dCategory=177&idProduct=4654&utm_source=googlebasefe ed&utm_medium=productfeed it worked perfectly.

Now when I use this http://www.chevellejewelry.com/gold-diamond/pc/14K-Yellow-Go ld-Diamond-Woven-Bangle-Bracelet-177p4654.htm?utm_source=goo glebasefeed&utm_medium=productfeed  I get a 404 error

I removed my tracking code from my feeds/emailers but I would like to use them. Does anyone have any work around for this?

It shouldnt be considered duplicate content.... On our site you can browse via asp or rewritten pages and we have no problems with our ranking or indexed pages.

...your not sending out emails for SEO... and i dont think the feeds are helping out with inbound links to your site either... so using the old urls wont hurt... thats what weve been doing and it works out fine. You can probably block spiders from indexing those pages too.
