Limit # of Products Displayed on advSearc

Hello -

Can someone point me to the code that controls the number of products
shown when browsing by brand? (advSearch_h.asp) For some reason it is
returning extra rows & products (when there should only be two rows / 3
per row)

2.76, and my new client (as of April) unfortunately doesn't want to spend the
money on the upgrade to 3.0....

I would hugely appreciate it if you can provide me with some help, as this is
not the only page where I am finding it difficult to control product display,
which causes the page to break between the content and footer.
