My Merchant Account Provider, Card Service International stopped processing cards and canceled my account in 3 hours notice for mentioning "Worldwide Delivery" in my site and for not mentioning about OFAC countries! This is something like http://www.merchantseek.com/reviews/cardservice.htm stories. We've removed OFAC countries from ProductCart country list, printed & faxed all invoices to prove we didn't process/deliver anything in OFAC countries, requested several times to keep the service ON but nothing helped. They've closed my account.

I know there're 100 review sites but I'm not in a place to trust any of them. I need to hear from real user. Can anyone suggest any Merchant Account Provider name who will integrate Authorize.Net easily?

They did a similar thing to a friend of mine.  I was also getting frustrated with them so I switched.  I now use Evalon, formerly Novus.  http://www.elavon.com/acquiring/pos/software.aspx
The product is called Virtual Merchant is already part of the PC.
You can open up an account with them through Costco (http://www.novainfo.com/costco/index.asp), or directly call them.  It was really fast to set it up with them.  I'm also glad I did switch.   I now see my funds in my bank account within 2 days, and their statement is easy to read.  Plus we pay less in fees.
That is my experience and opinion, I sure others can share theirs too.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts. Quick question, is it a Payment Gateway or Merchant Account or both? If elavon.com's VirtualMerchant is a Merchant Account can I still use my Authorize.Net account to integrate them?

I found a different Virtual Merchant in ProductCart's real-time payment gateway (https://www.myvirtualmerchant.com/VirtualMerchant/)

You can call Bill Dumont at emerchantdiscount.com  866-979-0260 . They will give you a good rate. I have been using them for a few years.

Also check out PayPal Payments Pro. Their rates are high for qualified transactions, but if you get a lot of non qualified transactions this might be a good option.

Will emerchantdiscount.com work with my Authorize.net account?

What's "qualified transaction" & "non qualified transaction"?

Angel

I am currently using AuthorizeNet as a gateway, so I don't believe there will be a problem.

You can call or email them Monday, they are on California time.

Qualified transcactions are when the customer uses their credit card and all the information matches (address and cvv) and the card is charged within 24 hours of their purchase. You will then be charged at the qualified rate which you negotiated with your processor.

Non-Qualified is when a customer uses one of those "perks" credit card where they get rewarded (miles, points etc.). Or lets say you don't have an item available for shipment at the time the customer places their order. You would then charge their card when it comes in. You would be charged a higher fee because you billed the customers credit card after the initial 24 hour grace period.

Check your current merchant statement and it should show you what tier your charges are falling into. There are three levels:

1) qualified
2) mid qualified
3) non qualified

Currently we have a lot of mid and non qualified unfortunately. If we switched to PayPal Pro we actually would be making out better, so we may switch in the future.
