Hello,
In an effort to speed up my launch process, I am shaving off tasks that I originally wanted to accomplish for my ProductCart launch. One of these tasks that I am "nixing" is to delete 3 of the 6 custom search fields that I started to add to my products. So, I am wondering, is there a way to globally delete these custom search fields from my products?
If I were to import a new spread sheet with these 3 search fields, and make all of them blank (except for one so the import will take, and that I can delete after the import), would this cause the custom search fields to not show up, since there is no data in the field??
Thanks for your help!

I think the stuff you're looking for is on this page:

I see. Thanks Brett. So simple. I didn't realize I could just deactivate the custom search fields on the store front side. SUPER!

Glad I could help. Hey, I tried using those on my store a while back, but every time I enable them, they slow everything down to a crawl.
If you get a chance, please let me know how the custom search fields run on your site once you've got them all set up and had a chance to test them. I'd like to see if it's just me who's having these lag issues. Edited by Brett - 19-May-2011 at 5:39pm |
