If the weight for a sub-product is "0" will it default to the weight from the parent product? Based on a recent sale, I'm guessing it will not, but want to double check.

Also, custom dimensions should be added to the sub-product edit screen. For any chance that the box dimensions change based on the option attribute selection.

100% agree.
I made mention of this a year or so ago regarding weight and sizes for bto items.
If they can make it happen it would help tremendously.
