Create BTO Product

   Hi All,

Just upgraded to a BTO store. We have several Standard products (Purses) that we would like to convert to BTO products so customers can customize them. I've tried cloning the product but it then sets up another Standard product. Is there a way to convert a Standard product to a BTO product? We don't want to have to duplicate each product as they are already there as Standard products.

	Hi Alan, Yes - this can be done via the 'Global Changes' feature. In the top selection, select the 3rd radio button and enter the SKU for the Standard Product(s) that you want to change. In the bottom section, select the radio button for "Change Product Type" and specify "BTO Product" in the filter. Then click the preview button. By the way, you can do this for many products at once, but make sure the SKU Filter will NOT affect products that you intend to keep as Standard Products.
