We gave MailUp a shot but don't like it so we want to turn it off, but I don't see a straightforward way of doing so. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Thanks greatly in advance.

One way would be to look at the files you installed to support it and replace those fies from the original store code, making certain that all of the files are for the current version.
