Currently my site has implemented the Search Engine Optimization for a ProductCart-powered Store - Creating Static Store Pages Using a Custom 404 Error Handler - See http://www.earlyimpact.com/forum/uploaded_files/earlyimp/200 7-11-17_175837_pcSEP_v3.11_111607.zip
In the pdf (Last Page) it says (3) Control Panel features The Generate Links, Generate Store Map, Generate Sitemaps, Generate Google Base File, and Generate Yahoo! File features have been edited so that they generate correct links to the static store pages. But when generating these links, they STILL reference the dynamic links - not the new static. Am I reading this Correctly? Did I do something wrong. and MOST IMPORTANTLY. IF I SUBMIT THE SITEMAP TO GOOGLE (as dynamic), but the links are static 1. Does this completely defeat the purpose. 2. Does google et al, penalize my links for this? |

We have no reports of this problem. Make sure that you have uploaded the files correctly. Sometimes users will upload to the "pcadmin" folder, but the folder has been renamed, so the new files end up in a new folder called "pcadmin" instead of being uploaded to the correct, renamed folder.
