My client wishes me to create some static HTML pages with links to PC. I can easily add a link for a specific product but how do I handle a product that has "Size" and "Color" attributes? Thanks for your feedback. |

Do they want a user to be able add items to a cart directly from the static pages? If so, then you can't really use a static page to generate dynamic content, i.e. the options being pulled from the database. If you know their produt is not going to change, then you could just view the product details page through the Product Cart interface and copy the HTML that it generates and paste it into a static page. But if they make changes to the product, you would need to recreate the HTML page. What is the purpose of having the static product pages? If it is for SEO, then you may want to try the Google Site Map and Froogle feed options for this. |
