Running PC on XP Pro and MS SQL 2005

   Hello:

I just downloaded the software and before I upload to my server, I wanted to play around on my local desktop.

My workstation is running Windows XP Pro and MS SQL 2005 Express (which is a free edition for development).

I followed the manual on page 26, but when I follow the setup - http://localhost/productcart/setup/step2_results.asp, it can't connect to the database.  

I created a System DSN with username and password and also created that username and password in SQL database.  The DSN successfully connects to the database so I'm not sure why the test page is unable to make the connection.  I used the correct string - DSN=SQLDSN;UID=USER;PWD=PWD.

Any ideas?
