I think it would be great if the shopping cart could be saved with a cookie and not just through a session. This way the shopper can come back and have the items still in their cart.

Hi Fire,
The "Wish List" supports this functionality, albeit not automatically and with a different approach. Greg Dinger has a "session saver" add-on which prevents the session from timing out. |

We are using the session saver but our customers are still a bit confused and I know they would prefer to have the cart saved until they log in again. I think it would prevent many lost orders as well as duplicate orders since some are in the incomplete file and cannot be accessed by the customer so they redo their entire order.
