We are just switching our business-to-business site for our wholesale customers to ProductCart. We would like to display our existing best selling items as Best Sellers, but we can't figure out if there is a way to manually add those items to the list, even though they haven't had any sales on the new site yet. I've searched the manual and this forum on "best seller" and haven't turned up anything.

Are you already using "Featured Products" ?
If not then you can use that feature in place of best sellers, until best sellers naturally re-establish themselves. If you wish you can modify the text in the languages file so that "Featured Products" instead refer to "Best Sellers". Alternatively you could examine and adjust the code that extracts the list of best sellers. |

Or - If you don't use the financial figures available from Product Cart - Set up a "fake" customer & give them a COD payment option and then "order" 99 (or however many) of the products you want to appear on the list.
DON'T use this hack if you use or intend to use the financial figures direct from product cart !! |
