I think it would be very cool to have ajax autocompletion inputs in stead of dropdowns on the registration page. I want to replace the country and the state input fields.
Here are some demo's: http://demo.script.aculo.us/ajax/autocompleter http://gadgetopia.com/autosuggest/ http://javanet1-staging.locaweb.com/ajax-autocomplete/ http://javascript.internet.com/forms/auto-complete-textfield .html << like this one It could also be used in other places like the search input. Now you have to input something and first refocus on another input before the ajax kicks in. It would be way cool if wou were typing and while you are typing the input suggests or autocompletes your SKU's for exanple. I would suggest using the last link in that case. Please some one look in to that. Edited by Louis - 29-August-2006 at 7:52am |

Well, no, it doesn't
add any esthetic value. It will look about the same. It does, however, add ease
of use, and therefore user experience to ProductCart. |
