Affiliate Linking Issue

Here is a strange thing.  Right now an affiliate can go into the backend and generate product links with their id in it.  They can also take the URL of the store and add their id to it.  I use an affiliate number we don't have just to give a sample.
http://www.germanplaza.com/productcart/pc/viewcategories.asp?idaffiliate=333
Many prefer this method.  So they also take the product URL and simply add their affiliate id to it.
They can however not do it with product category pages like
http://www.germanplaza.com/productcart/pc/viewCategories.asp?idCategory=143?idaffiliate=333 
This will cause the store to revert to the store front and it forgets about the affiliate thing and does not record it.  This has caused some confusion with our affiliates. 
I would love to see the possibility of having affiliate links to category pages, in addition to what we have.

Interesting.  Didn't know that.  Thanks for letting me know.  I will relate this to the customer I have the likes to link directly to a category instead of the product page.
