I'm trying to direct the "Contact Us" form results to my company e-mail address so that I get the messages collected through the form.
I looked in the ProductCart Wiki, and it directed me to this page: http://wiki.earlyimpact.com/how_to/change_email_contacts I did EXACTLY what it said to do and I did a test e-mail to see if the message from the form would wind up in my inbox. Nothing. Any idea what is wrong? Is there something else that needs to be done in order for it to work? |

My guess would be that your company's email server requires SMTP authentication and does not allow relaying, or that your store is configured already for SMTP authentication, but your company email address (of course) fails authentication against your store's mail server.
Either way, the modifications here would be more complex.
If your store's mail server allows relaying, then just set up an alias address on your store's mail server and have that forward to your company email address. Edited by Sean@WMS - 19-October-2009 at 6:18pm |

It seems that our web hosting account didn't have our e-mail server added. But yes, the relays were turned off on our server so my boss used his .mac account as the relay. Once he made the changes in the account, the form started working and I received the test e-mails from the form. Thanks for the assistance.
