Over the weekend this error started happening. As a user, anytime you try to put something into our cart it comes up with this message.

One or more of the products that you have selected cannot be added to the shopping cart. This is due to a limitation on the total number of different products that the shopping cart can support. Click here to view the products currently in your shopping cart. To add a new product, you will have to remove another one from the shopping cart. If you have any questions, please contact us.

When I go into the store to the admin menu, no errors are given and thinks the store is running perfectly. Our version is 3.51.

I saw a different post with a similiar problem, with the response being a global.asa file conflict. I double checked our server and we have no such file. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,
Start with Settings > Store Settings;Order related settings. : http://wiki.earlyimpact.com/productcart/settings-ordering#order-related_settings
There the maximum number of products a customer can order is set. I doubt very much that is actually the problem, but best to eliminate it first. Those settings are stored in a file rather than the DB (if I recall correctly) so it could be a file permissions issue - check the Help > Troubleshooting utility.
Beyond that you are into troubleshooting : http://wiki.earlyimpact.com/how_to/show_raw_errors and if all else fails raise a support ticket :-)
