? Via the "Authorize.Net, First Data, etc." option under "Add New Payment Option"

I'm not entirely familiar with Mastercard Virtual Payment Client but from what I can see you can integrate it directly with ProductCart howver, you will need an API written for it as it does not appear to be in the current list of Payment Gateways integrated with ProductCart.

I'm not sure how familiar you are with the term API (Application Programming Interface) but in simple terms it allows your payment processor (Mastercard) to integrate with ProductCart seamlessly. They usually need to be written by a specialist coder.

If you have an existing merchant account that llows you to take credit cards you can sign up for a payment gateway in the ProductCart list and that will work as the integartion for you. They usually cost about £20 per month.

Hope this helps

Yes it appears I went the wrong way about this one, and Early Impact have advised they don't have intentions of adding more gateways at this stage. Unfortunately the merchant I signed up with does not support any gateways so I will have to ditch them.

Fortunately I have established that I can adopt EWAY gateway who are compatible with National Bank Australia who I also have an account with, so it looks like I will go down that path.

For now I have SSL enabled so the offline credit card payment option is doing the trick.

Thanks for responding, these forums help me out alot.

I have a customer in Australia who was planing to move to Eway from Worldpay at the end of last year.

Would you like me to speak to them and see how they are getting on?

You can do if you like.

I spoke with EWAY today and they seem very good to deal with, they also put through the request directly to National Australia Bank who responded with very resonable pricing within hours.

It would be a few weeks before we could tackle this due to our workload, but we have created a number of gateway integrations in the past.  Some work normally, where one types the information into the checkout process, and at least one redirected to another server where the payment information was paid.  As long as the documentation is clear, we can tackle such things.  Just because a gateway approach (such as the authorize.net integration) is not offered by that processor does not mean a solution cannot be developed.

Thanks Greg,

My biggest concern is if it is economically viable to do so, in relation to costs of just changing to a gateway supported. Also if it would create further costs and work due to ProductCart Updates in the future. And I am not sure if the payment procedure would be as simple and convenient to the customer.

I spoke to my customer who uses Eway. They switched to them after having problems with Worldpay.

They said they are delighted with Eway and haven't had any problems with them at all.

I did need to set them up with a SSL certificate which they hadn't needed before because the Worldpay system used it's own.
