   using v4.6, manage shipping addresses. does anyone know if there is a limit to how many shipping addresses a customer can have? i have a scenario,  a customer now has 100's of shipping addresses and in a given year probably 20x that, some repeat and mostly just one time. it would be nice to have it tab displayed and able to sort it in some way like recepient's name or date added something like that.

	Theoretically, there is no limit. I never noticed before that there doesn't appear to be any way to manage customer shipping addresses in the control panel. You could use the option to place an order for a customer from the control panel. This will bring you to their customer account page and from there you could manage their shipping addresses. Not a very convenient interface, though, as there is no way to search and they are all labeled by the nick name the customer gave that address.

	thanks Sean. I need just that , manage it so customers are able to search and sort through the list. This is going to be a custom mod as i don't think there are stores out there that requires it.

	Hi Gemma, So you are looking for a customization to allow customers to search their shipping address book and view/edit or delete them? The same tool could be just as easily added to the control panel as well. Unfortunately, date added, as you suggested, is not stored in the database, but other available search fields include nickname, all of the address fields and the recipient's email address.
