Over the last few months, I have received several emails at my 'store managers' email address, from different people, all containing exactly the same wording as shown below. These emails are not from customers of my store, and do not have any name or signature line, and I am wondering if they are part of some scam. I am confident that there is no problem with my database connection. Has anyone else received emails like this?
The email wording is: - I received an error when visiting your store. The system indicated that there is a database connection problem. Please let me know when it has been resolved. |

Hi Richard, They are real errors being reported. That wording is from ProductCart and is offered after some errors to customers to allow them to very easily report they are having a problem with the store. I suggest looking at the error log in the admin pages as a starting point.
