I'd like to have a custom header image for each catagory. For example, I'd like the product catagory of "CDs" to have a different header image than the catagory of "DVDs". Is this possible in v3.0? I ddin't see anything right away that looked like I could assign independant catagory header images. Thanks! |

Actually, I would like to carry this question a step farther. Could the css applied to the page change by category? In my case, I don't actually need the header/footer CSS change, just the product/category css. Has anybody done this? Product Cart does so much and all we do is ask for more! |

You can have different category images and content display at the top of your content section for each category. You can add the images and content when you add/edit categories. But this does not change the banner at the very top of your web site pages. That would require custom ASP programming. Same for the CSS. I'm not sure what you want to change in the CSS for each category but you can add HTML code directly to the category descriptions to modify the look of each category page. Create whatever classes you need in CSS and then use the correct class in a div tag in each category's description. Does that help? |

I wrote some code that performs this behavior. I use the category/product id to send to a select case statement and the header images change as the category / content managed page, or any page I put an id on. so my category that displays my mp3 work will show a custom header related to music. A category about support/service/development will all have different headers. You'll create an include file to be used in the header. Then just assign an ID to the page/content you'll wnat to traigger the header change on.

anyone have any luck getting something like this implemented?
Here are my needs...hopefully someone can point me in the right direction: We have a total of 3 products, each customizable with 1 of 35 team logos. We would like the product pages for each of the 3 products to reflect the team colors of each respective team. Is it possible to have multiple product details pages that change depending on what team product you are viewing? Thanks in advance! John |
