    Posted: 21-October-2008 at 1:41pm
Hello,
I have switched my ajax pop-ups to use the general images instead of thumbs, and resized the window and graphocs to match. It looks great in IE7, but in Firefox the window does not resize - the top/bottom graphics, image, and text, hang over the side of the window and look terrible.
Has anyone come across this or solved it?
thanks in advance for any help.
gillian

That will not work.  There are fixed-width images that form the shell of the product preview window.  If you want the window to be larger, you need to produce graphics appropriately sized to your requirements, then adjust the CSS and JS code accordingly.

Hi Greg,
Thanks for the reply. I have produced new graphics and adjusted the CSS and JS code, and it works fine in IE7. Are you saying different adjustments are needed for FF?

Well, it would certainly be appropriate to view the site in all popular browsers and adjust if necessary.

gillian, I presume you noted that there is conditional logic in ei-tooltip.js which determines what code to execute for IE versus other browsers?
