Hi
I am not sure what I did to the CSS, but now all the special characters ALT+0183 appear as question marks inside of diamonds.  It  lookes this way on IE7 and Firefox.  And other research.  My CSS font in both the pcStorefront.css and pcHeaderFooter.css is "Trebuchet MS", Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;

Any thoughts on this?  You can see it on any product page. www.avalanche-ranch.com.
It never used to be there.
Thanks

Curt

Hi Avalight,
   I see duff characters, but not the question mark (at least not in F'Fox).
It's a character encoding issue. In Firefox you can choose you local display encoding via "View > Character Encoding" - Choose Western (ISO-8859-1) and the page should display correctly. Off course you should set it back afterwards and then update your header.asp to set the encoding which is defaulting to utf-8.
Also see post : http://www.earlyimpact.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=2086&KW=encoding&PID=7151#7151

I'm no expert on the correct encoding, just seen this issue a few times.

HTH, Hamish

Thanks, I put the ISO-8859-1 in the Header.asp like the FAQ suggests and that did the trick!
