Hello. I haven't purchased ProductCart yet, but likely will here in the next week or so. My big question is ProductCart versatile enough to be able integrate into a Joomla template? I really like the open source code for Joomla with its many useful extensions and easy to customize templates, but the shopping cart side of Joomla is not very good.
So does anyone have experience or does anyone know if ProductCart can be integrated into a Joomla template? It seems like it could, but I definitely need to make sure before purchasing this product. Thanks for the help! p.s.- I considered purchasing this software around 2002 or so. Could have saved a lot of time and money just buying it from the beginning. ![]() |

To give you an idea of which Joomla template I am referring to, go to this site: http://demo.rockettheme.com/
From the drop down form at the top choose Feb 08 Hivemind. It is about 8 or 9 lines down from the top. This template isn't an e-commerce template so it would be like integrating into a regular site, but it will have the Joomla code with Joomla admin, etc. |

A skilled coder should be able to implement any standards compliant HTML and CSS onto PC since it uses a included header/footer strategy for formatting the pages.
The larger question is whether Joomla runs successfully on Windows, which is a requirement of PC. I've not had much success in the past running certain CMS and other such tools which were intended for LAMP servers and unofficially supported on IIS. Looking at their current technical requirements, it appears they may want Apache. I've had Apache running on a Windows box, but you'll probably be restricted to a dedicated server. Your thoughts on this?
