Inventory Management System / Point of Sale

Hello,

We had a potential customer today mention that they wanted to use ARS Retail Solutions ( http://www.ars-retail-solutions.com/front-page ) for their Point of Sale & Inventory Management System.

They also mentioned that they would like to "mirror" their inventory from the Main Shop to the Warehouse (Drop Shipping, etc)

"We plan to integrate  http://www.ars-retail-solutions.com/ for our Point of Sale and Inventory Management System in the future. Also 3 of our distributors use these guys http://www.outdoorbusinessnetwork.com/ to be able to mirror the distributor inventory on our website so we can do drop shipping and also so our customers will see the distributor inventory as our inventory. "

Maybe I am just not up to speed on this stuff like I should be, but can somebody shed some light on this, and how it can be involved with ProductCart?  Would like to give them a solid answer but I have never dealt with an Inventory question such as this. 

Anyways, any help would be greatly appreciated

Hi Joe,
   You could use the XML API - IF the other systems also support one.
I suspect they won't as both sites are pushing their own ecommerce solution (or one linked to them).
