Hello,
I just wanted to get some idea of what can be done to integrate my PC orders and backend with my new warehouse's order fulfillment system. I guess I may need some sort of custom report that can be exported each day and sent to my warehouse so they can process and ship my daily orders, however, once they do outside of PC, my backend will be useless because all the shipping data will be processed outside of PC....SO....I was wondering if there was a way to not only export the data from PC to an Excel spreadsheet but then have the warehouse email me back a spreadsheet so I can update my backend and we're both on the same page. The warehouse would report back things like tracking numbers and ship date and what not.
Below are the fields my warehouse requires all in one row in a spreadsheet. Can this data be extracted in this format from PC?
Thanks!
Customer Email
Billing Company Billing First Name Billing Last Name Billing Address 1 Billing Address 2 Billing City Billing State ID Billing State Billing Zip Billing Telephone Billing Country Shipping Company Shipping First Name Shipping Last Name Shipping Address 1 Shipping Address 2 Shipping City Shipping State Shipping Zip Shipping Telephone Shipping Country Shipping Service Selected Order Sub Total Discount Code Used Discount Total SKU1 SKU 1 Quantity SKU1 Cost SKU2 SKU2 Quantity SKU2 Cost SKU3 SKU3 Quantity SKU3 Cost Etc, Etc…for all SKU's purchased for each customer.

I forgot to add, obviously I would need to export this data by date purchased or by "order processed status" - In other words, I must know what did ship and what did not ship so I don't duplicate orders and miss others. Each morning this would be updated and exported only with the orders from the day before that have not been shipped yet.
Thanks again.

Phil - I directed you to the custom export features in the admin. Never heard if you had examined that feature.

Yes, I did check it out and there is no single report that does what's needed from what I can tell. I can get bits of the required info from different reports but its not all there, sortable by order date, and would require a bunch of work each day to get the data into a useable format.
I want to make sure we are not hand-pulling data and physically manipulating it for the reports each morning because we will introduce human error and screw up the daily orders. My old warehouse processed daily orders from MY backend and then updated their systems afterwards. This new warehouse wants to do it the other way around.

Productcart has extensive reporting facilities built in but if these don't meet your requirments it is possible to pull out any data you want and display it in any order. It may need to be done for you as a customised feature. There are people here, including myself, who can do this.
