After a lot of hoop jumping with USPS we have it running on our site and are able to pull the real time rates, run orders out of the admin and print the labels.
Alas I have found that we are not able to print the actual postage like we have been doing with Endica. Is there a way to do this? Or what did I mis in the set up? Thanks atlantahobby.com Edited by Cliffw - 09-November-2009 at 6:17pm |

Hi Cliffw,
You didn't miss anything, it's not possible to print the postage from within ProductCart : http://wiki.earlyimpact.com/productcart/shipping-usps#printing_usps_shipping_labels |

Thanks for the update,
The nice thing about the shipping app (both USPS and UPS) built into PC is that it will pass all of the tracking info back to the web site attached to the customers account. This Keeps all of the notifications nice and clean and allows the mailing stickers to be printed automated which is nice when you have several hundred a day to do. I can continue to do this to pass the tracking info back to the customers PC account and print the labels but it seems like redundant work to then have to go and print the postage on another machine. If I can have an account with UPS that is integrated and Endicia for USPS where the bill my card as well as have an account with USPS where they will print labels and bill my card for their online app it looks like PC could integrate this so as to be a fully functional package. Maybe PC could get with the USPS to make this happen? Thanks again Edited by Cliffw - 10-November-2009 at 7:26am |

Integration with Endicia or Stamps.com has been on our radar, but we have not gotten to it (strictly for lack of available resources).
A few of our resellers had looked at taking the project on and creating an "Add-on" for it. For example, I believe Greg Dinger had taken a look at integrating with Endicia at some point. In any case: it would certainly be good to have. Sooner or later Early Impact or a ProductCart developer will get to it ![]() |

We are working on releasing a new PC feature (more news on this in the next week or so, hopefully). After that we may take a look at the APIs for Endicia, Shipworx and Stamps.com to determine what such an effort would require - and which might be most realistic to accomplish.
