I am trying to find an 'out of the box' ecommerce solution for selling custom products.  We stock blank items and add graphic details to these products.  We also need customer specific sku's that can only be viewed by that customer.  I would also like to have an application where our customers can design their own graphics or preview their graphics on our products.  ProductCart looks close so I imagine some ProductCart developer out there has already added these extra bits.  Please reply if you can point me in the right direction. Thanks

Let's talk about this.  We've csutomized PC to allow people to upload photos to be used on one of our client sites, but I think you are talking about a "cafe press" style where the people can manipulate their images on the product/canvas.

Product cart doesn't do this and I would think the dot net asp would be better suited (from our experience), as you'd need to have extra programming on the design side.   We had programmed the user's ability to upload an image and carry it throughout to checkout but not the apex styled design and this is classic asp so we have the limitations from teh aspx (dot net).

Any cart would work on this, but the idea is to get the programming for the design on canvas.   Try this company.   We have reviewed their web application and it is phenomenal.
(they do the custom/personal Kleenex boxes as well!)
