Login to admin > View Order > Product Details > Edit > click "Add Product to Order"
I selected a product and added any required custom details and clicked add to cart. Productcart confirms with a "You have successfully added a new product to this order.......Review the order, change any settings that might need to be changed, and then click on "Update Order" at the bottom of the page to fully update the order details." I clicked the update order button, but the new product doesn't appear in the order. Is this a bug? |

I just did it on my installation and it works fine. Added a regular product to a previous order that had one BTO product on it. There must be some issue with your specific installation.
