Is it possible to use HTML in the product name field? When namng my products I'd like to be able to add line breaks within the name so I can decide when the text wraps to the next line when it is displayed on the "Featured Items" page. Thanks in advance. |

No probelm. I use HTML all the time in names. Asp see the mark up as string nothing more. Chris

Thanks Chris. After posting this question 2 months ago, I realized it was possible. What I didn't like about it though was that when the cursor hovers over a product who's title has html in it, the html code shows in the hover text. I'm not sure how others view this, but it didn't seem good to me. All I really wanted to do was add a <br> between two words so that I could control when the title wrapped to the next line. When I added the <br> to the title, it would show properly throughout the site, but would be visible when the cursor hovers over the product. Thanks for the follow up. I appreciate it. |

No, just the hover text that shows up when you hover over a product picture. For me it just displays whatever the title is (without html formatting).

Because of the alt tag.

Yep. I noticed it on your site as well. I don't think it's a big deal, just something I noticed. Have you had any comments about it on your site?

No, But I could write something that would strip any html from string displayed in the alt tag. I just don't think it is that important. Chris
