Moving the Home Page to the Root 4.1

After installing the update of 4.1 my root directory installation would no longer work. I am planning on working on this over the weekend and I am looking for any tips. Has anyone setup ProductCart 4.1 to work from the root directory?

	Hi Brian, Keep in mind that if you are considering actually moving all of the storefront folders and files to the Root Directory, Early Impact will no longer be able to provide technical support on ProductCart (since this sort of change will likely introduce a variety of 'side-effects')! 	I'm sorry if I was not clear. I was referring to moving the home page to the root directory as discussed in the article from the PC Wiki. http://wiki.earlyimpact.com/how_to/move_home_page_retain_ajax I have been using this method to display my home page in the root directory for a while. Early Impact provides files for 4.0 SP3. I was wondering anyone had done this with 4.1. When I updated to 4.1 home page in the root directory had issues.

	We have not yet updated for v4.1 the file set that we had created to facilitate the move of the home page to the root. It will be updated over the next couple of weeks. As we had indicated in that WIKI article, we do not believe it is necessary to move the home page to the root: there is no evidence that a home page that is 2 levels down ranks worse than one that is in the root. It is simply not considered a ranking factor.
