Can you please tell me if the following scenario is possible: How can I make the color of the medium image change as they select the options? Thanks so much. |

Hi, Take a look at the Apparel add-on demo - I believe it supports this feature.

I know the apparel add-on changes colors of one option - my question is specifically on 2 sep. dropdown menus. Can I change the images when i select 1. embroidery color and the 2. material color?

Hmm, Sorry, I don't know on that one - I've not used the Apparel add-on myself. Anyone out there using it care to step in?

The answer is "yes". When you use the Apparel Add-on you can specify product images (along with many other settings) at the "product variation" level. That means that for each individual product variation, you can have a different image.
If you had: - 4 embroidery colors - 5 fabric colors - 3 styles ... you would be able to manage independently 4 x 5 x 3 = 60 different sub-products (images, part numbers, weight, inventory levels, etc.). |

If you have a sample set of those images, you may wish to try setting up a demonstration of this scenario in EI's sample store. http://www.earlyimpact.com/productcart/apparel-addon-demo.asp |

Correct me if i'm wrong, but I think I need one more step...I want the user to select their own combination: If they select red material, then the picture willchange (that is simple), but if they then go and select green embroidery, it should show a red material with a green embroidery ON IT - combine the 2 options they selected. Am i making sense?

Hi, Every combination is a separate sub-product so that should work.
