We run a work wear store and are looking to setup "sub pages" for each of our clients. For example, if a worker of company ABC logs in we would like to be able to direct him to a page showing only branded ABC products.
We were first thinking of attempting to do this via customer type, using session variables in the header menu to show a link to the "ABC storefront" once they have logged in. But we do not know how to create additional customer types (other than the default Retail and Wholesale) to allow for this. Is it possible to create additional customer types? If not, does anyone have thoughts on an alternative way of doing things? Thanks, Liz |

Hi Yes,
What you are looking for is "Pricing Categories", under "Customers" in the admin panel. Although they are called pricing categories having different pricing rules for the different groups is completely optional. Edited by Hamish - 14-May-2009 at 3:10pm |

I have one client here in the UK who also has a workwear company and asked for exactly the same thing.
It works just fine !
