Hi All
I hope someone can answer this as it is an issue I seem to come across all the time... at the request of the client!
I would like to create a sub category eg. mattresses and assign this sub category to multiple root categories. This is not possible with the current configuration of PC so...
Can anyone advise a way to customise this - I would be grateful. The other thing the client wants is when you click on 'all furniture' all the sub categories are listed in the menu.
Many thank

Hi Sam,
You can have multiple categories with the same name, so for example you can have : Wooden Beds : Mattresses and Steel Beds : Mattresses .. where Mattresses is a (different) subcategory of each one. You can also have a category called "All Furniture". In both cases you will need to assign the products to all the categories you wish them to appear within. |

Thanks for your reply...
I suppose I was trying to avoid duplicate categories with the same name as then you need to update them in 2 places and I worry about confusion.
