I have your answer and it's considerably more affordable than most people out there.  Contact Sean Connors at Sean@WMSmerchantservices.com, www.WMSmerchantservices.com.

Sean was awesome he helped me with all the add ons I needed that Product Cart does not currently have.  My store now displays the lowest price first.  The best thing about working with sean is that he was honest, fast, efficient, and VERY affordable.  Joe Sloan from BlackReefDesigns.com referred me to him.

Hi Sean@WMS,

Our store is full of BTO products. I'll be happy to volunteer it for you to look over.

Thanks for your help!

Hi @carstone,

Yes, the verbiage is controlled via the language file.

As for a BTO version, I need a BTO store populated with product data to have a look at. If you could PM me your store's URL, I will start with having a look at your store if you like.

Be sure to let us know when you have the BTO version up and going! Also, I am curious: Is the term "From" xx.xx price in the language file or hard coded? I might prefer "As low as" or "in qty" instead.

Hi Hamish,

I will add it as soon as I'm granted permission by the wiki to create the new page. I sent Massimo an email on that last night and am awaiting reply. The entry is written and awaiting the new page to post it to.

Hi Sean,
Are you going to add your new add-on to http://wiki.earlyimpact.com/widgets/thirdparty/thirdparty  ?
- Another good place to let people know about your add-on.

The majority of the items in our store have quantity discounts available, therefore, the base price is not necessarily the least expensive price. For instance, a single item may cost $100 where a customer purchasing 10 items can purchase each item for $75. How can I display the least expensive price (which will be one of the quantity discount prices) on the product detail page, as well as with the product image thumbnail when the customer does a search by category or another search option?

Thanks!

I have just released modification for this.

This modification for ProductCart 3.51 revises the display of the price of a product that has been assigned quantity-based discounts so that the price shown is the lowest available price based on the highest quantity threshold assigned.

To read more about it and or order it, please see

Hi Nas,
I think Nigel's idea is a good one.
It's always worth thinking as a customer would and I, as a customer, would be put off if an item was shown in a list as $75, but then when I selected it found that the product is actually $100 and that I have to spend $750 to get ten of them to achieve the $75 price. It would, psychologically, dissuade me from completing the purchase as I would feel that the offered price had just shot up by 33%. Conversely I would look at a product at $100 and then see that if I buy several I can make a saving as a good thing. Same pricing but different psychology.

Displaying BOTH prices would be fine, which is what Nigel's suggestion would achieve, but I would definitely avoid disappointing customers by showing them a lower price first and then making it dependent on a bulk purchase on a subsequent page.

Just my 2 cents worth :-)
