After doing a gazillion test checkouts today testing various things before go live, I see that the saved cart is no longer "saved" after one begins checkout.

Haven't had time to look into the logic here, but is there any reason it couldn't remain saved until an order is complete? This way if someone doesn't complete checkout for some reason, they'll be prompted by the saved cart dialog when they return?

We noticed this also... as soon as you click checkout... and leave the site... when you come back the cart is gone. It should keep the cart until the very end.

We just started using PC after months of customizations and one of the major issue we have with our customers is that they can not "SAVE CART". We've lost five orders within three days! If we would know before, that PC doesn't have this option it would've been a big concern for us if we would go with PC. The "saved cart is no longer "saved" after one begins checkout" described by Sean Connors needs to be taken care off. And every business owner would agree on this... You can not loose a sale because a customer couldn't reproduce his "Not Saved.." order.
