The forums seem to bery low key from an end user and early impact point of view. It would be great if the forum was more lively in line with other online suport forums.

The product seems quite good as I am integrating it with my first client but the response on the forums is much poorer than i expected.

Surely its up to us to keep the forums busy, relevant and a source of knowledge between fellow users? After all, we are the people using it on a daily basis and no 'official' support team, no matter how good, can forsee every situation the end user will try to force the software to do!

Just a couple of comments on this:

  • The ProductCart community is growing fast and the forums will definitely get busier and busier with time.
  • Until a few months ago, we were using a very basic application to run our forums, which a lot of people didn't like. The current one works better and this will help as well.
  • We try not to post too many messages on the forums because we really want them to be a place where ProductCart users meet other users, not Early Impact. That doesn't mean that we don't monitor the threads and provide feedback when we believe it is useful for everyone.
  • We do ask you not to post support requests on the forum unless the request is for other ProductCart users and not for us. If you are looking for technical support from Early Impact, we ask you to submit a support ticket. There are a number of reasons for this policy, including the privacy of the store-related information that is exchanged in many support tickets.

Thanks to everyone that's making these forums a good place for ProductCart users to learn how to best run and improve their stores!

The ProductCart Team
