So we moved to a Dedicated Server, and I purchase a copy of 'ASPJpeg' and installed it on my server.  For the longest time I couldn't figure out why I was still unable to upload pictures for products in the Control Panel.

Here is what I've figured out.  For the Control Panel product image uploading to work, we must have the ASPJpeg AND ASPUpload Utilities installed.

However I’ve been searching on the internet trying to save some money and came across a program called ‘Free ASP Upload’.  This software seems like it is a bit primitive, but Im going to give it a try and see if it works.

http://www.freeaspupload.net/

I was wondering if someone could possibly assist in helping me install this software on the server so ProductCart software recognizes it

Thanks

Joe S.

Joe - it's just not that easy.  ASPJpeg and ASPupload have a specific syntax by which you must call them.  That syntax is built into ProductCart.

If your goal is to save money, you may want to find another way, because you will have to re-program the upload feature of PC in order to utilize this alternate server component.

Joe,
It would be cheaper in the short term and certainly the long term to get the component than spending time/energy/money on implementing an alternative solution.

Alternatively upload the images using regular FTP.
