I would like to place that three column table showing the new arrivals, best sellers and features items, that are now on the featured page, on any every page.
So, every page has to have those 3 colums in the footer of the page. Is this possible, what code sould I use? Thx Edited by Louis - 12-January-2007 at 5:27pm |

I would also like to know how you could do this. Maybe the next update PC should break apart the 3 lists, so we can use then as required. Anybody??? Rob |

This would require quite of bit of programming. The include file contains routines and variables that are duplicated in many of the other pages of Product Cart which will cause conflicts when that include file is added to your footer. That's why you got errors, most likely something about variable is redefined. Just my two cents for whatever it is worth, I would not recommend adding that kind of information to every page of your site for a couple reasons: 1. You are adding a bunch of database calls to every page which can slow down page displays and increase traffic in your database. I hope that helps. |

Thanks netprofits for the reply. A way around the problems mentioned could be like the Navigation generation. So not a live version as such but the option to generate when required and ability to add this automatically to the right side. Of course could just code the individual links into a file as include it, but thought it was a good way to expand the features of PC. Rob
