I'd like to change the order of the fields on the One Page Checkout. For example, I think it makes more sense for a customer to type in City, State, Zip, and then Country (instead of City, Zip, Country, and then State.) I'm sure there is a reason for the order of these fields, and that is why I am wondering if it is a big deal to rearrange them. Edited by loracady - 05-March-2010 at 5:12pm |

Hi Loracady, The reason the fields are in that order is that the State Code field is dependent on the Country Code - There is no Illinois in the UK for example :-)
To see the effect change the country to another country and you will see the state code field change. If that is not an issue for your store as you a purely US store then it should be possible to rearrange the state fields, but it may be a better solution to hide the country code if that is the case. If the code is customized of course this would then need maintenance during upgrades. |

How can you hide the country code when it must be pulled down to United States in order for the State codes to work?
