It would be great if an option for cross selling on product pages would be to display other products in the category.
I coded this for our v4 site, and will probably add it to the v5 store, but it would be really helpful if it were part of the v5 software. Adding cross selling relationships to all of our products is a pain. Thanks!

Steve - have you ever looked at this? http://www.greybearddesign.com/productcart/cross-sell-wizard/ We have not brought it over to v5, but I don't believe it is going to be a great deal of effort to do so. I can tell you, however, that assigning cross sell relationships with this is super simple and so much faster than stock functionality. |

Thanks for the quick reply!
That's close, and looks a lot more robust than the stock features. But here's an example of what I did with v4.5: At the bottom right on the product pages, I set up the cross selling section as "Related Products" - if a related/cross selling product is not found, it grabs the next 4 products in that category (excluding the product that is being viewed). This ensures that there are always some cross selling products on a product page. The problem is, every time a version comes out, I have to re-code it, but it kind of seems like a good standard feature, especially when you have 4000 SKUs to set relationships up to and manage.
