Currently and in the past there have been various topic discussions about the implementation and that effectiveness of email messaging built into ProductCart.

WHAT IS YOUR OPINION?

State your objective opinion of expectation. Do you find ProductCart emails:
1. acceptable format
2. functionally effective
3.  .......etc........

To kick this of:

1. I find the PC standard emails do NOT meet my expectation for formatting - I expect customers to receive formats that are at least equivalent to the graphical nature of eBay or PayPal graphical format.

2. They are effective in general communication BUT most definitely NOT when the customer is expected to log in to receive or reply to any email communication.

3. no comment.

Hi Geoff, are you referring to the alignment problems referred to in this thread? Please see our reply within the thread.

This thread is not specific to the other current discussion on text alignment but broader in intent.

My personal opinion is that this is an area requiring significant further development and that the bar needs to be raised in this area. The title is deliberately inflammatory to hopefully learn whether other PC users feel equally strongly about this issue.

I hope that the thread will motivate YOU to express your opinion.

Beyond inflammatory, I think it is rude and inappropriate.

When one is in someone's home, one should conduct ones self in a polite and respectful manner.  And this forum, effectively, should receive no different treatment.  I don't think the tone of your title, or your post in general, comes anywhere close to that measure.

Early Impact, as an organization, conducts themselves in the most ethical manner I have experienced with any software company, and their support is unchallenged in terms of responsiveness and  thoroughness.

This and any topic where  you feel there may be shortcomings or room for improvement in this powerful product should be addressed in a more respectful manner if  you truly wish to engage folks in such a debate.  I think your post sucks.

I agree with Greg.
It is more appropriate to give useful suggestions then just being rude.  Any shopping cart out there will need some improvements, and as a developer you can never have the perfect solution for each retailer.  The email thing (and other things) can get improved, but it is working fine as is.  I have no issue with it at all.  It is functional and I'm glad I've got a cart with tons of features at a price I can afford.    Go out and check prices before you complain to much.

I have to agree with Greg and Katharina. The PC program is wonderful and the best shopping cart around for the money IMHO. I don't know how they do it. And, to top it off, the support is unmatched for any company I've ever dealt with in the past, and there have been quite a few from small to very large. While there are things we all would like to have changed or tweaked, this product, out of the box, surpassed my expectations. Finally, this forum has some of the most helpful, courteous and understanding people I've run across for which I thank you all.

Alan
