Hi S, The site is very well designed, however i feel on this page http://summerrainsperfume.com/shop/pc/viewCat_L.asp?idCatego ry=791 it gives a boring feeling by just listing the products, probably some spicing up the page like this http://www.perfumesand.com/productlist.asp?categoryID=C002&a mp;lette= would make it interesting. otherwise, you have used search very nicely. Regards, |

The site is nice. The following comments are intended to help it evolve further.
On the main front screen - I would include some montage images of the coloured bottles as it is quite stark at present with just the clickable logos. Then take the manufacturer brands and have them shown but smaller at the bottom. Or break up the screen into themed visual sections - an example bottom next to related brands etc. The same is also true of categories which need the images showing as already mentioned. Put your own sized images into the 'thumbnail image' field for each product and this will be sorted. The 'brands' section is too complicated with 32 pages - it will take ages to scroll and you have included prouducts not brands. A brand would be 'Adidas' 'Armani' etc. You need to group your products into fewer brands. People will never browse sufficiently through your categories - you have 78 pages of men's cologne alone. You need to break this down further. For example you have four prouducts in the 'Adidas Dynamic Pulse' range and 10 in the '212' range. So create 'Adidas Dynamic Pulse' and '212' as sub-categories of 'menu's fragrences' and then the products set up below the new sub-category. This will make use, especially for casual viewers far easier and quicker. cheers Mark The pink text is effective but you need a wider range of light/dark text, especially in the product details description. For example, it might be nice to balance the pink text with some mid-grey. The site also lacks a distinct brand of your own - you need an image and header banner text that shows what 'Summer Rains' stands for. |

Thanks for the valuable tips. If I have the following in my "import.xls"" Parent category: Women's Fragrance will that generate a page showing "Women's Fragrances" and when you click on it, the category name "212" on a new page will show up? Or should I format it differently? Thanks once again for all help. S. |
