I was messing around with PayPal pro last week, but after setting it up the only way to choose PayPal was before you got to the payment page. At that point, the only choice was credit card. Is that right? I took it back off because I really didn't like that. I know the "Pay Now with PayPal" option comes up a few times before you get to the payment page, but I just didn't know if I was missing something since the PayPal option wasn't available at the payment page. When set up correctly, PayPalPro will show a big 'buy now with PayPal Express' button whenever there are items in the cart. PayPal customers can then buy using an expedited process. Credit Card customers will see a credit card option when they choose 'checkout'. You can set this to show whatever title you want using ProductCart's Payment Method set-up page. So Paypal customers will have paid before they get to the checkout page. cheers Mark |

Actually, one more question... I use real time shipping. If the PayPal button shows up as soon as you add something to the cart, what will that do to shipping? Will they still be taken to the Choose Shipping page if they press the PayPal button?

Yes, they come back to the store after selecting the payment method in their PayPal account. Thereafter, they resume the checkout process on ProductCart and select shipping options. |
