I am running v3.1 with the apparel addon. While I am not the best coder I would like to be able to display all subproducts on the viewprd.asp page. Ideally i would also like to color code inventory levels.

Any ideas?

You may see our implementation of this feature at http://www.buygolfshirts.net - www.buygolfshirts.net under release 3.11.

We set a flag in the product admin indicating the specified product is to be displayed with the alternate matrix view. Support for editing that flag is enabled on add, edit, clone and "global change".

Once that flag is set, all pages that originally established a link to viewprd.asp are coded to examine the flag setting. If set, the link for the specified product alternates to the revised view.

Hard-coded inventory levels may be set to color-code the quantity input boxes, and display of the prices within the grid can be active or not.

We also support this setting on the XML site map and the HTML store map.
