Hi all

PLEASE does anyone know how to add the same behaviour as category view to the wish list that it only shows PRICE when there is a value above 0

Not sure why the wish list acts differently to view categories. But because I am going to use options to price my images I have set a 0 nil price which does not show in category view BUT does in wish list (my lightbox) so everything looks FREE when saved to wish list HELP!!

It would be but I think I'll be all the way to my empty bank

Many thanks

Kathy

Hi Kathy, the latest version of ProductCart does not allow for this scenario. Which version are you using?

In version 3.11, assuming you have made your product options required, JavaScript validation will not allow the customer to add the product to his/her Wish List without having picked an option. When that happens, option information is saved to the Wish List together with the main product, and the price is the total price for the product + selected options.

For example, if there is only 1 option group and the attribute prices are $10, assuming the product price is $0, the price in the Wish List would be $10.

Hi
Thanks for that you always get one it doesn't suit (had to be me ) looks like I'll have to perform major surgery...........I have the problem of 0 price showing because I've enabled add to wish list from category view ....I am anticipating my "lightbox" (wish list to you) to be an interactive gallery feature not just a pre-requisite to cart .............It took me weeks to find out how to add to lightbox from thumbnails and now it's looking like  I can't use it ........I'm going to be really upset now but such is life huh!!!

So before I try performing major surgery being as I'm no surgeon can you tell me how to remove the price visibly from custquotesview.asp then .........I can disable send all products to cart  (that doesn't work for  me anyway I would like to be able to select )

I have a developers quote to modify the wish list to behave more like a lightbox .......but cannot stretch to this cost just yet .........so will have to make do with my  efforts until  then so would appreciate any help  on this
many thanks
Kathy

Hi Kathy,

You could edit the asp page so it doesn't display the price.
