I have an old site running on Product Cart 1.5 and am in the process of moving to a new site. We are scheduled to go live tomorrow, however, our customer database can't be imported without knowing what type of encryption was used on the passwords. Please help I don't want all my customers annoyed when they can't log onto their accounts.

I suggest raising a proper support ticket.
Not that I know the answer, but I and many others would be wary of posting anything regarding the specifics of product cart security on the forum. I hope you appreciate why.

I would not even suggest to run such old store at all. There have been so many new security things implemented since. Not to mention possible old security issues that may leave the store vulnerable
to hackers, and may post security issues to credit card information on
your site. And then there are new requirements from Master Card and Visa. You may be breaking Mastercard's/Visa's new rules and not even know about it. This can lead to a shut down of your merchant account. Quite honest I would check with Early Impact tech support and see what they know. They are always helpful, friendly, and they know their stuff. Katharina PS Do yourself a favor and upgrade. I just did from 2.76 ( I was 2 years behind the new version) and I'm happy I did.
